Julie's bio

Background

She was a judicial extern for Honorable Magistrate Tu M. Pham in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and served as a law clerk for the Judges of Shelby County Criminal Court during her last year of law school.  Julie was honored with the Deans Distinguished Service Award, CALI Award for the highest grade in family law, and selected by her peers as the Class Graduation Speaker.  

Julie enjoys giving back to her community and is currently coaching the Lausanne High School Mock Trial team.  She currently serves as a member on both the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Board and the Memphis Bar Association Family Section where she was selected as the President for 2026.  When she is not at work, you can find her eating at local restaurants, serving at her church, and watching Survivor. 

Julie is thankful to be an associate at Bowders Law firm and appreciates the opportunity to help people navigate through big life events.  She has always been passionate about family law and considers it a privilege to be able to help those in need.
