Tiffany Bowders
Tiffany graduated summa cum laude from the University of Memphis in 2004 with a major in political science and a minor in French. She attended the University of Memphis on both academic and music scholarships. During college, Tiffany attend the Universite Catholique de Lille in Lille, France, focusing on international studies. Tiffany earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law in 2008.
While in law school, Tiffany served as associate editor for the University of Memphis Law Review, where her note, From Georgia v. Tennessee Copper Co. to Massachusetts v. EPA: An Overview of America’s History of Air Pollution Regulation and Its Effects on Future Remedies to Climate Change, was published in Spring 2008.
Julie Chapman
Julie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. While in school, she served as the Associate Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board and Senator of the Student Bar Association. Julie was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the Association for Women Attorneys, Order of Barristers, the Federal Bar Association, and the mediation clinic where she was trained in alternate dispute resolution.
Julie was on the champion team in the Advanced Moot Court Competition and was also on the finalist team in the Mock Trial Competition.
Cindy Taylor
As our legal assistant, Cindy brings decades of office experience to The Bowders Law Firm.
She handles all office administrative tasks and ensures our client files are always organized and up to date so we can go to court at a moment’s notice. Cindy provides all of the behind the scenes support from making trial exhibits to mailing correspondence. Plus, she always makes sure we stop to eat lunch! Affectionally known as “the momma, Cindy is not only Tiffany’s mom, she takes care of the entire office.
Margaret Walk
Margaret, a native Memphian, graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Art History, and French. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Margaret was a student in the Honors Psychology program, working closely with world renowned professors and researchers in the Health Psychology field at SMU as well as at The University of Texas Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, studying the relationship between psychological factors, health, and illness.
Margaret returned home to Memphis to study law at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, receiving a Juris Doctor degree. During law school Margaret served as a law clerk to the Shelby County Criminal Court Judges and was a student attorney through the Memphis Area Legal Services’ Juvenile Law Clinic.
